Those who have known me for years may remember that I have my own Hall of Fame method set up, which works something like this.
Each player gets a score that is a modeled on the MVP ballot. It is a weighted average of his career WARP3 – your best season in WARP counts 14 […]
2015 was a bad year for stats.
I had intended to write this as a review of my 2015 projections – and I will get to that – but I ran into something else while working them and decided that this was actually a bigger deal.
I’ve got a program here which it seems I […]

By major league team:
Arizona: mid-A from South Bend to Kane County
Atlanta: high-A from Lynchburg to Carolina
Chicago Cubs: high-A from Daytona Beach to Myrtle Beach
: mid-A from Kane County to South Bend
:short-A from Boise to Eugene
Cincinnati: high-A from Bakerfield to Daytona (confusingly giving them both […]

In the AL, division titles go to the Nationals, Cardinals, and Dodgers. The Brewers and Cubs take the wild card spots.

The official Hall balloting will be announced in two days, and I only have two names on my inductee list for this year: Randy Johnson and Pedro Martinez.
Of course, two names for me is by definition. I set up my own Hal of Fame rather diferently from the official Hall or from the way […]
